We've been awfully quiet - noses to our grindstones and all - here on our blog at Lott3Metz. We'll have more news, very soon, on all the big things demanding our time. Keep your eyes on the sky.

Until then, and in our tradition of supporting our friends & neighbors in the production and display of great art - tonight is the first night of a two night event of which we're very proud to be a small part. Lott3Metz is to helping UICA & The Pyramid Scheme bring a screening of A Band Called Death at UICA & the band Death, itself, to rock out at The Pyramid Scheme.

We're particularly excited about seeing the band live on Tuesday night. I've been curious about the band since this March 12th, 2009 piece about them in the New York Times. Their story is equally inspiring and upsetting and the fact that they're finally getting some recognition for their great work gives all of us around here hope.

We're really lucky to have people at UICA & The Pyramid Scheme who are willing to show work & performances like this in Grand Rapids. I hope you all can make it out to see the movie on August 5th and rock out with the band on August 6th.
